Birthday wishes

What is it in my spicy poetry lines?
For which you long for, many times,
Is it that my rhymes cheer you up,
That you stick to them like saucer and cup,

What is it about you – an inexplicable craze?
The more I think of you, more you amaze,
Entangled in you like a mouse in a maze
Killing myself many times to get over this phase.

As we move to the year number two,
Sharing a relation similar to a very few,
Memories are still as fresh as morning dew,
Wish I could stop the time and continue.

With you being born on October ZZZ,
I begin to celebrate with self and wine,
Even if my promises mean you are not mine,
Can I join you, near you while you dine?

Its time you make me a sincere gift,
Come out of your pretence and mental rift
To give your life, the much needed uplift,

Let me see you bound in life,
To your knight, by his side,
To be his better half and his best wife,

Your qualities stand out of the crowd,
So, Let me state clear, nice and loud,
Being with you, makes me feel proud,

Don’t forget to wish me next year,
Even if you are far away or just near
We are friends & there is nothing to fear,
No longer for you do I shed a secret tear,

Dear XXX,What I feel for you will remain mummified in the archieves.I wish to see you happy at all times. You are the best, just be so.
I wish to repeat what I wrote to you last
WISH YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DOLL
ENJOY YOURSELF,HAVE A NICE BALL,
IF YOU EVER NEED ME,JUST MAKE A CALL,
I’LL BE BESIDE YOU,HANDSOME AND TALL
TO SHIELD YOU LIKE A DEPENDABLE WALL

Get Well Soon

I heard about your ill health this
Pray that you should get well soon,
Let God bestow me with this boon,
That good enough to send me to the moon.

Let not you be plagued by any disease,
The moment I hear that my existence will cease,
Pray you be active like the humming bees,
Living in good health way past the nineties,

Make it a point to eat healthy food,
I repeat this only for your own good,
Always bonded by your conditions three,
But I cannot let you live carefree.

There is no need to doubt this feeling,
Its what I feel for every human being,
If you have the faith, just make a call,
I will be there for you at times all.

My last days

As humans grow old and begin to age,
Organs don’t respond,there comes a stage,
All is left is Helplessness, anger and self rage,
Dependence on others and locked in a cage,

As skin begins to shrink and bones rattle,
Man begins to repent, little by little,
He knows that hope to live is very brittle,
And its time to pass on the mantle.

As his vision blurs and his memory blanks out,
Gone are those days of strength and stout,
Now its only fatal diseases bout by bout,
All the pride is gone with nothing left to tout

As his past begins to haunt him cold,
On the outside he seems to face it bold,
As every ounce of energy he tries to hold,
More and more his miseries begin to unfold

As he contemplates his actions on the dying bed,
Realising what his elders had rightfully said,
Shameful of all the evil paths he has led
Sorry, not have done some good deeds instead,

As he begins to want a relief of death,
His soul cries like a burning hearth,
On the verge of being one with the Mother earth,
He apologises as he gets ready for the next birth.

Truth of Life

Time and tide waits for no man,
Lets do the very best that we can,
The present slips away very fast,
Not many minutes does it last.

This is the time to quickly act,
Timely action helps – that a fact,
Pick up your arms, rack your brain,
You will repent later,if you refrain.

The old wise worship their work
That is the actual wealth and worth,
Lets be sincere in our untiring efforts,
Forgetting the outcome or the rewards

The more ethical is out practice,
The more complete are our actions,

Life need not be always good
Results need not be always fruitful
Good work is always worth
Remember always "The Last Holiday

Never Say Die

Give me strength to weather the storm,
Never to give up – being the norm,
They say tough men made of steel,
Never under pressure do they reel,

Give me resolve to fend off the attack,
And the courage to stand and get back,
Commitment and desire I do not lack,
Let not these failures take me aback.

Give me the grit to never say die,
And to stand up again and defy,
Never get disappointed or sigh,
Be truthful to myself and never lie.

As I tred ahead as a failed human,
Not able to come out my horrid past,
Give me the belief and the faith,
That tough times are sure not to last,

As I write,my words may not rhyme,
Since I trudge through the hard time,

Ironical turn of events

When all is lost and as you insatiably weep,
Looking down at life’s fatal valley steep,
Remind yourself of the promises to keep,
And the other rich harvests you need to reap.

What seems to be the end of the day,
Is a new beginning as many wise say,
All you can do is to hold hands and pray,
Trust the Almighty, hold tight and stay.

Events will not rewind if you cry,
Resolve again to once again try,
Leave  behind the hard times and moments dry,
Look for new opportunities as they come by

Think not as if it is a befallen curse,
Future happy dreams, now begin to nurse,
Do not doubt if you at all, can,
Be brave,couragrous – be a man,

When all is lost and the chips are down,
Lift your head up,fight it without a frown,
Act by self conviction and not the opinion of the town,
Have unshakable faith in God – you shall not drown.

Reign in your restless soul and wandering mind,
Bring them together and make them bind,

Happiness and sorrow walk hand in hand,
Take them along and assess where you stand,
Endure everything in this hour of test,
Believe in the adage – All for the Best

Rise like a Phenix

As Bad times approach Thick and Fast,
As Black memories haunt from the past,
As we see the flag of life flying at half mast,
As we get despondent and sure not to last,

As we defy all pitfalls and roadblocks
And as we take a beating at all stops
Let us rise up and make one last pledge,
Motivate ourself that we still have the edge.

Life is sure, not a rosy bed,
It is a thorny path instead,
Depends on how many blows we can take,
Inspite of failures, what best we can make.

As the fatal pressure to win, upon us,mounts,
How we handle it is all that finally counts,
Lets this not melt away our steely resolve,
Lets stand up and redeem ourselves

Lets not live crest fallen with a spirit damp,
It is the difference between a loser and a champ,
It only takes a spark to again light the lamp,
To start galloping again on life’s ramp
